| | 1 | 義人哪、你們應當靠耶和華歡樂．正直人的讚美是合宜的。
Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. | |
| | 2 | 你們應當彈琴稱謝耶和華、用十絃瑟歌頌他。
Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. | |
| | 3 | 應當向他唱新歌、彈得巧妙、聲音洪亮。
Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy. | |
| | 4 | 因為耶和華的言語正直．凡他所作的、盡都誠實。
For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. | |
| | 5 | 他喜愛仁義公平．遍地滿了耶和華的慈愛。
The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love. | |
| | 6 | 諸天藉耶和華的命而造、萬象藉他口中的氣而成。
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. | |
| | 7 | 他聚集海水如壘、收藏深洋在庫房。
He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. | |
| | 8 | 願全地都敬畏耶和華．願世上的居民、都懼怕他。
Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him. | |
| | 9 | 因為他說有、就有．命立、就立。
For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. | |
| | 10 | 耶和華使列國的籌算歸於無有、使眾民的思念無有功效。
The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. | |
| | 11 | 耶和華的籌算永遠立定、他心中的思念萬代常存。
But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. | |
| | 12 | 以耶和華為 神的、那國是有福的．他所揀選為自己產業的、那民是有福的。
Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance. | |
| | 13 | 耶和華從天上觀看．他看見一切的世人。
From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind; | |
| | 14 | 從他的居所、往外察看地上一切的居民。
from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth-- | |
| | 15 | 他是那造成他們眾人心的、留意他們一切作為的。
he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. | |
| | 16 | 君王不能因兵多得勝．勇士不能因力大得救。
No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. | |
| | 17 | 靠馬得救是枉然的．馬也不能因力大救人。
A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. | |
| | 18 | 耶和華的眼目、看顧敬畏他的人、和仰望他慈愛的人、
But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, | |
| | 19 | 要救他們的命脫離死亡、並使他們在饑荒中存活。
to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. | |
| | 20 | 我們的心向來等候耶和華．他是我們的幫助、我們的盾牌。
We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. | |
| | 21 | 我們的心必靠他歡喜、因為我們向來倚靠他的聖名。
In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. | |
| | 22 | 耶和華阿、求你照著我們所仰望你的、向我們施行慈愛。
May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you. | |
